How to say "Do You Like?" in Chinese:
Ni3 xi3 huan5 --- ma5?
Ni3 = You
xi3 huan5 = like
--- = (the thing you're asking about)
ma5 = question particle
Do you like --- ? in Chinese is formed by saying You like --- . and then putting the question particle "ma5" at the end. In Chinese, the word order doesn't change when you ask a question. Instead, the question particle "ma5" is used.
(Note: Not all questions use the question particle "ma5" at the end. Words like who, what, where, when, why, etc. are questions words in and of themselves and so "ma5" is not needed at the end.)
